What is an online Webinar?

An online Webinar is a presentation, conference or workshop that is delivered entirely over the Internet. No telephone connection is needed, and you do not need to pre-install any special software. You simply connect to a private link that will be emailed to you and access the webinar online through your computer.

How does a BrainReactions Webinar work?

During a BrainReactions Webinar, the presenter speaks while showing their slide show presentation on your screen. BrainReactions Webinars are presented in a special browser window that features a slide show presentation in one panel and sound and interaction controls in another panel.

No special software needs to be pre-installed to watch a BrainReactions Webinar. You simply need a web browser like Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox. The Webinar can be viewed on a single computer screen or be projected onto a larger one for a group setting.

How do I ask the presenter questions during a BrainReactions Webinar?

You can submit a question at any time during the live webinar by typing it in the question or chat section which will be available on the left hand panel of your computer screen. Your question will go to our presenter(s) and will be answered either during the presentation or during the question/answer portion of the webinar.

How do I advance the slides?

The slides are presented one at a time as the presenter goes through them. They will advance automatically whenever the presenter moves onto the next slide. Copies of the slides are typically included in the printable handouts that are offered with each BrainReactions Webinar.

When will I receive the connection instructions/link to handouts?

At least three days before each webinar, you will receive an email from BrainReactions with a link to register your details with GotoWebinar. Immediately after registering, you will receive another email that will have the access link for the next webinar. You will also receive an email reminder the morning of the webinar with the same information. Your presentation handouts will be emailed to you immediately after the webinar. Please be sure to enable emails coming in from brainreactions.com.

I never received the email or any correspondence that contained the information for the webinar for which I registered - what should I do?

We send all information regarding access to the online webinars and handouts via email. These emails are sent to the email address that was given at the time of registration and payment. If you never received the email at this address, please check your spam or junk mail folder or check with your internal IT staff to see if emails coming from BrainReactions have been blocked or filtered. If you still cannot locate the email, contact Anand Chhatpar by email at info@brainreactions.com or by phone at 608-335-0791.

I am not able to participate in the live event. Are there any options to watch a recorded version of the same BrainReactions Webinar later?

You can still register for the webinar if you're not available to view it live. Approximately one day following the close of the live event, the webinar will be available to watch on-demand at any time. The recorded version has the added feature of allowing you to rewind/fast forward or skip to certain portions in the recorded program. You can also ask questions of the presenter via email.

How many people from my institution can participate?

BrainReactions' Webinar registration fees are priced either per individual or per group. If you register your group, an unlimited number of people can gather together at one site and participate using that single connection. Many users purchase a single group connection and view the webinar on a large screen using a video projector.

May I give the Web link of the BrainReactions Individual Webinar registration to a colleague for viewing from a different location?

No, the link to a BrainReactions Individual Webinar registration cannot be shared or used more than once, as it is sold as a single connection. Once you connect to the presentation via the private link, no one else can use that link to connect to the presentation from a different computer.

Can I record the live presentation of the BrainReactions Webinar?

Due to copyright laws, recording the presentation is not allowed. We do offer the recorded program to be viewed on-demand for purchase once the webinar is concluded.

What is your cancellation policy?

All cancellations need to be submitted to BrainReactions in writing by email to info@brainreactions.com. Up until the week prior to the first BrainReactions Webinar, you may cancel your registration and receive a full refund. If you cancel your registration less than one week prior to the first scheduled webinar date in a series, you will be charged the full registration fee for the entire webinar series.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently only accept online payments via credit cards, debit cards or Paypal. We do not accept checks or send invoices.

What are the System Requirements for attending your live webinars?

For Windows Users:

  • Internet Explorer® 6.0 or newer, Mozilla® Firefox® 2.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)

I am having audio and/or video playback issues. What can I do to resolve this?

Also verify that your PC's volume control is turned up (typically, this is found in the system tray in the bottom right corner of the Windows task bar or under Control Panel > Sound).
